Teacher/Faculty Appreciation Week
The Discovery High PTSA will be hosting National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 7 - 11, 2018, to show our support for the faculty and staff that lend their time, skills, and emotional support to educating our children on a daily basis.
Since 1984, the National Parent Teacher Association has designated the first week in May as a special time to honor our teachers. The PTSA hosts various functions for faculty and staff several times throughout the year, however, this week is specifically dedicated to all 240 staff members, including the administrative staff, cafeteria staff, clerks, counselors, custodial staff, and principal.
